Dampened gas shocks ensure the reinforced crowned lid opens smoothly at a controlled rate, while the automotive grade rubber bulb seal prevents moisture from penetrating the box and compromising the condition of your tools. This Specialty Series Narrow Crossover Tool Box is manufactured in the USA from heavy gauge , .056 Brite-Tread aluminum plate with internal bends and a double v-pan lid stiffener for superior strength and rugged durability. Great Bang for the Buck!
Looks great and was easy to install. I spent more time looking for my 10mm deep socket than I did putting it in. Maybe top 30 minutes…that’s all. American Trucks has never disappointed and this is another example. Great purchase on a budget. Thank you!

The step was perfect. Install was fast and easy. It works like a champ. The step only sticks out slightly beyond the bump which prevents you from running into it. Perfect height for stepping up on to the tail gate. Love it!

Great Purchase!
The Tailgate Assist was the perfect addition to my Truck. Prior to this purchase the tailgate would slam down and has almost hit people and my kids. Now, I have no worries of this happening because of the smooth lowering of my tailgate! It fit perfectly and does not alter the lowering of the tailgate at all. Great purchase if you have this similar issue!

Tailgate assist
Product arrived as expected. I was able to install the tailgate assist in a very short period of time, just followed the instructions. I works great and makes opening the tailgate a lot easier. It was a high quality product at a reasonable price. Highly recommend the item.
