Description
Adds Style and Protection. This Gladiator Roll Bar is a good way to upgrade your Canyon's protection, especially for off-road conditions. The heavy-duty construction is complemented by the rugged styling. Furthermore, the modular side rails and decorative mesh side plates allow for customization, so you can achieve a unique look. It also comes with a third brake light to enhance visibility at night.
Heavy-Duty Steel Construction. To ensure that the Canyon is fighting fit for the trails, the Gladiator Roll Bar is made from high-grade, 3-inch steel tubing. This provides superior strength and toughness, while the black powder-coat finish adds rust and corrosion resistance.
Lighting. This Gladiator Roll Bar accommodates a 50-inch light bar and the third brake light is included, pre-wired with power and ground.
Drilling Required. The Gladiator Roll Bar requires drilling during installation. Other than that, the rest of the installation is easy and straightforward. The included side rails and side plates help to customize the look of the truck.
Backed by 3-Year Limited Warranty. This Gladiator Roll Bar is warrantied against defects in materials, workmanship, and finish under normal use. Exclusions will apply.

GRB set up and Completion
It took a little while to assemble, as the instructions were not clear and easy. All nuts, bolts, washers were in the same package. So figuring out what washer/nut went where was a task. Side piece (wild horse) was difficult to line up and install as the work space doesn’t allow for a ratchet. Had to do quarter turns with the Hex Key at a time. Was more time consuming to put together than anything. Overall appearance- looks amazing.

Came with a little tweak from shipping but nothing. You can't bang back out. not a complicated install but will take a little longer without an assistant, solid and fits well once sorted out

Gladiator Roll Bar
I absolutely love how these bars look on my truck. Like other reviews, I can confirm that the instructions are terrible. Though, assembly was pretty easy, installed them on the truck in a couple of hours by myself. However, it took me a few days to get the light wired because I wasn't so sure where to tie it in. After a little research, I found out that there's a small, capped, purple wire with a red stripe just forward of the firewall on the driver's side in the engine compartment specifically for a third brake light. I had to lengthen the wire harness to reach it and the ground, which I connected forward of the air filter assembly. It took me a few days to find wire to extend the harness because it's so small. I found some at an electrical supply store, but someone told me that Ace Hardware has small wire. Last tip on the harness is to run it through the bars BEFORE you assembly them and mounting them on your truck. Lastly, I wasn't thrilled with how the back end of the mounting plates for the rails fit, seems that there's too much material that hung out over the edge of the truck's bed rail. I ended up trimming them down with a Sawzall, cleaned up the edges on a bench grinder, then touched up the paint and re-installed the rails. I was much happier after I did that! I don't think the price is necessarily too high, but for that much, it should come with better instructions, especially for the wiring. I also think the manufacturer should do a little re-design on the mounting plates.
