iStep Running Board Review
Item was on sale at time of purchase. Went with these over the Rough Country BA2’s because of sale price. I assumed they were an aluminum build when in fact it is plastic. The brackets have held up good so far. Was hoping the texture on them was a bit more rough for my Alaskan winters of snow, ice, and moisture. Overall, they function properly and help my kids get into my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 but the plastic gives a “cheap” appearance and unknown how they will hold up long term.

The running boards were exactly as described. They are very attractive, a huge upgrade from the original tube type with step pads that were in disrepair with no possible repair. They were shipped on time and the install with the local contractor was seamless. Thanks again!

Look great, fit was great
I like the product a lot. The fit was great. It bolted right to the existing body/frame mounts. The parts were labeled really well. The installation instructions weren't great. The pictures where hard to distinguish what they actually look like and where they mounted. The real complaint was the install video didn't match my truck. The video didn't even have the same parts and was for an older model truck. One side took about an hour to figure out how to install and what parts to use and where to bolt them. The other side was done in 15-20 minutes.
