Stainless Steel Strength. The Clamps, tubing, and muffler are all TIG-manufactured and built from racer-quality 304 stainless steel with a fortifying silver coat finish to ensure perfect fitting and synchronized compatibility partnered with a clean and glossy facade.
Not CARB Approved. This product is not sold in the state of California and other states who have adopted the CARB emissions regulation.
Alterable Fitting. The Borla S-Type Dual Exhaust System is designed for modded or upgraded engines which is why it may need added tubing or slight modification to achieve the desired results.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss
I purchased the Borla S-Type dual exhaust to have the performance and sound needed in the 5.3L V8. It did not let me down. It has great sound without reverb and I can feel the difference in the power I was looking for. Great product!

Exhaust fit very well. Took about an hour and a half to remove the factory exhaust because I tried to save it but had to cut the back portion in half. New system took about an hour to install. Fits great, Sounds great.

Perfect
Very easy to install, did it myself. The hardest part of it was taking the old exhaust off. Sound is perfect, startup is loud on a cold start but settles after the RPMs go below 1000. When driving it is louder when you get on it but cruising down the highway it is not annoyingly loud and does not have a bad droning sound. Overall a very good system!

This exhaust is amazing. My truck sounds like it should have off the factory floor now. Great growl under acceleration and close to whisper quiet while cruising at 70 mph. Love it.

Borla S type 2023 Silverado trail boss LT
Just installed a Borla S type cat back exhaust on my 2023 Silverado trail boss LT. Definitely worth the money. Everything about this installation was extremely straightforward. My only complaint was with how the product was packaged. They use that liquid foam to pack everything. Some of it leaked on the Y tail pipe. It took a while to scrape it off. The sound is amazing. Huge difference over stock. It sounds like a proper V-8. Deep low tone at cold start up, and nice and quiet while driving. Get on the accelerator, and you’ll definitely hear it coming. Great product, definitely worth the money.

Its louder than I expected, but...
Let me explain why I purchased the Borla system and why I chose the S type. First, I chose the Borla system because I've had it on a previous GM car and was impressed with the build quality and sound. I listened to audio clips of all the other options and decided I wanted to stick with Borla. I can say, yes, its worth the money. It is built to last and it sounds like they spent considerable effort tuning the sound to make it right. Second, I had to make a decision if I wanted the S Type or the Touring model. I chose the S Type based on reading numerous reviews and listening to audio clips. Let me emphasize that I was not looking for anything obnoxious, just wanted my truck to sound like a truck. After having this installed and they brought it around to me at the front I was a bit shocked at the volume and really questioned if I made the right choice, however after living with it for a week, I wouldn't choose anything else! Its intoxicating to hear the melodious sound it makes and is downright amazing. There is no audio clip out there that will give you the full experience until you drive it for yourself. Now I find myself on the slippery slope of truck modifications!
