This front strut can be used in stock, lifted, or lowered Silverados courtesy of a proprietary collar and perch system. This system can be used on a range of truck heights, starting with a 2-inch lift and all the way down to a 2-inch lowered ride height. This factor pretty much makes this component the only strut you’ll ever need. Likewise, its gas-charged twin-tube design provides exceptional damping performance for the trails and a near factory ride quality on the highway.

      Exclusive Height Adjustment System. At the heart of this front strut is its exclusive collar and perch adjustment system. Specifically, this strut features several metal collars that sit atop a ride on the shock body. These collars are used with the included spring perch and allow you to adjust the height of the strut in increments of 0.50-inches. This feature enables you to go from 2 inches of lowered height all the way up to 2 inches of lift. Additionally, this strut comes with a progressive bump stop made of high-quality open-cell foam, which helps in ride comfort.

      Robust Build Quality. This strut features a 2-inch wide shock body machine-formed from high-grade alloy for exceptional durability and improved heat dissipation. Likewise, its piston rod features a 0.70-inch diameter and is similarly machine-formed from chrome-hardened steel, making it tough enough to use on the trails. Finally, this strut assembly features a silver powder-coat finish for exceptional corrosion protection.

      Professional Installation Recommended. Installing this Street Performance front strut will require the use of a spring compressor. Considering this tool is not commonly found in most home garages and its misuse can result in injury, professional installation is recommended.
