Description
Superior OE Performance. Get the best damping performance from your daily driven F-150 with the Belltech Nitro Drop II Shock Absorber; Rear Driver or Passenger Side. This rear shock is designed as a direct replacement for your truck’s factory counterpart and can be mounted on either side of your truck. More significantly, this rear shock absorber utilizes a twin tub, pressurized nitrogen-charged technology to give your ride superior damping performance over stock. This translates to exceptional handling and stability with a significant reduction in body roll.
Durable Build Quality. This rear dampers’ shock body is machine-formed from premium alloy and measures 45mm in diameter, offering exceptional strength. What’s more, this 45mm diameter works to increase shock oil volume, which translates to a more consistent performance that’s resistant to fade. Likewise, the shock’s piston rod measures 12.50mm and is made from chrome-hardened steel for optimum durability. Rounding out its construction is a black powder coat finish for excellent corrosion protection and rugged good looks.
Convenient Install Procedure. This rear shock’s OE design makes installation a convenient process that won’t require extra drilling or other modifications in most applications. Moreover, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.

2017 f150 Medium firm good for 2” drop
The product was shipped in a well package container delivered as expected through UPS to Hawaii less than two weeks. The shocks do well over speed bumps at 5 miles an hour. The current vehicle that it’s on is on a drop F150 installed in the rears. Only issue I found is that one of the shocks was made in 2021 while the other was made in 2024. Unsure if this will affect its overall longevity and operation, time will tell.

Beltech rear 2 inch drop shocks
These are badass way better than the stocks. They handle very nice in turns and when im mashing the gas over some crappy roads. I paired these with the 2 inch shackle drop by beltech as well. Make sure you order from American Trucks only they are the best website for aftermarket parts for your beaters.
