1. (15) tree fasteners are included with the Mat. A hammer, awl, punch, drill, drill stop and a 1/4" drill bit are required for installation. Use a sharp utility knife for cutting material if needed.

2. Mats are designed to fit most major brands of drop-in liners. Perforations are provided in strategic areas on some models for assistance in trimming for better fit. See illustration.

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED A UNIVERSAL MAT, THE MAT CAN BE CUT TO HT ANY DROP-IN LINER APPLICATION. USE THE LEFT REAR CORNER AS THE STARTING POINT WHEN CUTTING TO HT YOUR APPLICATION. THIS WILL RETAIN AND KEEP THE BEDRUG LOGO & WARNING LABEL IN THE CORRECT LOCATION.

3. Locate the BedRug bed Mat in the bed of the truck to determine the exact location and fit.

4. a. Locate and punch holes in the Mat with an awl for fasteners. Start at the front center and work outboard and toward the rear. Be sure to locate fastener points on the top of a rib or high spot of the drop in liner to provide clearance for the tree fasteners. See illustration.

b. Center punch the fastener locations in the drop in liner using the Mat as a template.

c. Drill a 1/4" hole in the drop in liner then firmly press tree fastener into position.

NOTE: BE SURE TO USE A DRILL STOP TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK BED! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRILL THROUGH THE MAT MATERIAL!

BEDBUG@ CLEANING INFORMATION

The mildew resistant BedRug foam will not absorb liquids. The engineered polypropylene fiber top surface resists stains and deterioration from most acids, chemicals, gas and oils, etc. Therefore, by following the cleaning instructions below, your BedRug will remain serviceable for as long as you own your truck.

Cleaning your BedRug is easy:

1. A vacuum, broom, brush or compressed air can be used to remove dirt, grime, sand, mulch etc. Due to the fact that water will not harm the BedRug, pressure washing is also an effective way to clean a soiled BedRug.

2. Although most acids will not harm the BedRug, baking soda should be applied immediately to neutralize the acid to ensure the safety of the paint on the truck.

3. To clean tougher jobs such as gasoline, oil, chemicals, acid spills or leaks from your BedRug use detergent soap with degreaser and water, then rinse thoroughly. This detergent soap is used in most car wash locations with pressure washing equipment. The BedRug polypropylene closed-cell foam will not absorb water and the polypropylene fiber dries in minutes.
