Description
Street-Tested Improved Performance. This BDX Tuner is designed to deliver street-tested, dyno-proven tune files to boost your Ford F-150. SCT has expert calibrators developing these tune files so you can unlock your truck’s true potential. This tuner optimizes a variety of vehicle functions including timing and rev limiter, wheel and tire size calibrations, transmission shift points, intake airbox, etc. Thus, you get a performance enhancement that is custom-tailored to your vehicle and your own standards. This BDX tuner also features a customization option to adjust powertrain performance so you get more horsepower and torque whenever you need it.
Engine Parameter Diagnostics and Monitoring. The BDX Tuner from SCT provides you with the ability t easily monitor your vehicle’s engine parameters in real time. The lightning-fast tuner features a crisp, HD display for better readability. It also features a reliable data logging capability so you can easily record your vehicle’s performance and play it back with SCT’s free LiveLink software. This tuner also doubles as a diagnostic tool with the ability to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes. It saves you a trip to the dealership by being able to clear “check engine lights” codes by yourself.
Dyno-Proven Custom Tunes. The BDX Tuner offers a selection of multiple tuning levels and loads up to 20 custom tune files from SCT’s custom tuning dealers worldwide. It features a WiFi capability that eliminates the need for downloading and uploading DLX files over a computer. You can send and receive custom tune files over the cloud anytime you need them. You can receive tunes remotely via any custom tune dealer anywhere in the world. It’s the new generation of performance tuning!
Worry-Free Installation. This BDX Tuner from SCT easily and quickly installs through your Ford F-150 truck’s OBDII port. The custom tune can easily be loaded and restored. You can return your truck to its factory setting by plugging the tuner back and selecting the option to restore the factory settings.
One-Year Limited Warranty. This BDX Tuner comes with a 1-year limited warranty that starts on the date of purchase and is non-transferrable. This warranty covers defects in material or workmanship including any software or firmware malfunctions.
Application. This BDX Tuner from SCT is designed to fit 2011-2014 Ford F-150 models equipped with 3.5L EcoBoost engines. It is recommended that you download the free LiveLink and Updater Software which requires Windows Vista 7/8/10 and an internet connection.

still learning how to fully unlock the full power of the tuner
super easy to use.i had issues trying to load my tunes to me device so i called customer service and they walked me thru it and got my tunes loaded. loading them to the truck was super easy only took a few minutes. now the real work begins. next steps are data logging. then sending those logs in for a revisions .log again and repete until its dialed in

Less than impressed
Saw little to no gain while driving on the 91 octane tune with exhaust and cold air intake. Don’t know what you was expecting but I will tell you the $400 was a waste. No returns on tuners. $400 paper weigh

So far it’s pretty good
The stock tune with 93 octane is the only feature that is noticeable so far. The 87 is no difference then driving stock. The units display impromptu is really helpful for beginners

Q: does this unit have preloaded tune to increase torque to help with pulling a camper?
A: This tuner will come with preloaded strategy tunes to help increase tourqe and horsepower.
Q: How many preloaded strategy tunes come with the tuner?
A: A strategy tune is created based off of the vehicle's vin/engine strategy pulled by the tuner, as well as the info you enter, such as octane rating, mods, etc. There is not a set # of tunes on this tuner.
Q: Does this tunner come with preloaded tunes
A: This will absolutely come with preloaded tunes.
Q: Would I need to remove this for inspections, oil changes ect?
A: You will want to at least restore the F-150 to factory settings before any kind of service or oil change.
Q: how much does it cost to add a tune for towing
A: Depending on who tunes it most are around the 150 range
