Description
Useful Upgrade. A great way to upgrade the usefulness of your Barricade HD4 Tubular Front Bumper is with a HD Winch Plate. Designed to easily attach to your HD4 Tubular Front Bumper, this HD Winch Plate will allow you to install a winch on the front of your F-150. Built tough from heavy duty steel, this Barricade HD Winch Plate is ideal for work and off-road applications.
High Quality Construction. This Barricade HD Winch Plate is manufactured from heavy duty steel plate for strength. After trimming and final finishing Barricade then completes their HD Winch Plate in a two stage finish using epoxy pre-coating and high-grade textured black powder coating for durability and long lasting corrosion resistance.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. Barricade engineered their HD Winch Plate to be a direct bolt on upgrade for their HD4 Tubular Front Bumper. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean straight forward install. Installation can be completed in under an hour with just basic hand tools.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION
The installation was pretty striaght forward. I did have to change my battery connection to allow for multipal accessories. Be careful when loading the cable, wear gloves, keep your fingers intact, keep them back!!! Haven't actually used it yet.

Works great
As a test, I found a large tree, and let the winch pull the truck. No issues what-so-ever. It was actually a bit faster than I had anticipated. The only installation issues were mounting of the control box (not enough space on top of the unit) and where to connect to the battery. A custom-made, but simple, bracket solved the mounting problem using the same approach as shown in the video. I replaced the ends of the factory battery cables (for the starter) with loop-style lugs. I found battery terminals from a local auto parts store and fastened all the cables to the clamp bolts. Worked just fine.

Works
Was able to install in my 2013 F150 Ecoboost with Barricade HD Winch Front Bumper with LED Lighting. Down side I am still thinking of a way to mount the control box securely since the 3 short wires are limiting movement of the box. Haven’t had to use it much except in testing it but does we park as expected.

Great winch. Difficult solenoid mounting
Their install video is real cute with the mounting plate for the solenoid but they never sent it and I had to get creative mounting the solenoid. Can be a little challenging with an aftermarket intercooler as well. Build quality is great but the mount plate would have been nice. Customer service wasn’t much help with this

Arrived in good shape, install want to bad but a little modification needed for the control box to fit. It slips back into nuetral very easily so almost need a second person to hold it engaged while retracting cable
