Description
Double Usage. A pair of Barricade 4 in. Black Rocker Panel Oval Bent Side Step Bars are a great addition to any Silverado 1500. These step bars will provide you with a convenient step for easy entry and exit while giving your pickup a bold appearance. In addition, these side step bars also double as side armor to give added protection from both road and trail hazards, as well as dreaded parking lot door dings.
Top-Notch Construction. Barricade built their step bars to exact specifications from heavy-duty 4" oval mild steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity. These step bars are then completed in a two-stage finish using epoxy pre-coating and black powder coating for aggressive good looks and long-lasting corrosion resistance.

There is no drilling or cutting required for a clean straight forward installation. With the help of a friend and a set of basic hand tools, these side steps can be installed in approximately two hours.

They were Easy to install even by yourself, the bigger size looks good on the truck and the fact that they are body mount makes them sturdier and more secure. I recommend them as they fill the truck out nicely.

Pretty danged good!
I purchased these to help my wife get in and out of the truck as she is partially disabled. They work very well. I was concerned the footpads might be slippery in the cold but haven't any problems yet. I have encountered an issue with them squeaking. The footpad appears to be rubbing. Could be dirt/grime under the pad but haven't pressure washed to find out for sure.

Great entry assist
I bought these for my truck to help my wife get in and out of it. The installation was a simple bolt on job, and can be done in an afternoon. The kit did come with a special bracket on the front passenger side, which was unnecessary, the same bracket for all mounting points would have worked for my truck. They do flex a little when stepping on them and are not as solid as I expected, but they have been sturdy enough so far. A frame mount probably would have been more rigid, but I don't have the impact wrench required for that type of install. For the price point, they are an excellent value and look great on the truck.
