Hello, as other people have stated the directions are not very good, even the install video. Pretty easy to install but the front where you start at was confusing. The rubber sides where it folds was very stiff and does not lay flat. Other wise I love it.

The Bakflip MX4 has exceeded my expectations! Easy install with a nice low profile design. Fits the style of the truck perfectly.

Easy use, secure enough, Decent waterproofing

Bought this to replace the Quad fold. I liked the layer because it was very secure, more secure than this one, but I had to get rid of it because all of the seams leaked. I live in a very wet climate, and when I put things in the bed of my truck I don’t want them getting dripped on. Also, the rear is very heavy. Flipping up the last couple flips was a pain in the ass. This one, is super easy to roll back, I get to keep my career window, visibility, and for me the most important part is that although it lets water in from the corners, the cover itself, the top is the one piece of seal, so I don’t get dripping in the middle of my bed on top of things. I can safely put things in the bed And I don’t have to worry about them getting water Drips.

I know some older ones had issues, but I got mine 12/24 and it is great. Packaging was improved, and everything was perfect out of the box. Installation was quick and easy. I believe the design is the best out there. Great security, great looks

Works terrific. Keeps everything dry on trips. Now I can keep things back there without having worrying about it being taken.

BakFlip MX4 for Carbon Pro Bed

This is my third MX4 tonneau cover so I knew what to expect. However, I have a Carbon Pro bed, and the installation is a little different. The instructions were HORRIBLE. Once I figured out how it attached, it was a snap, but the instructions completely missed the obvious attachment points. This time, I ceramic coated the cover to see if I could kep it looking new longer.

BAK MX 4 F150 bedcover

This bed cover is a good product. If it were possible to give it 4.5 stars, I would. The metal fold up panels are solid. It functions as it is supposed to. It has a few more plastic parts than the one I bought for my other pickup (from Real Trucks) which was disappointing somewhat. But, it appears RealTruck now owns BAK anyway. I had an issue with a broken corner cap (plastic) but American Truck was great and offered to replace the entire bed cover! I thought that excessive, so I called the manufacturer and they sent out 2 new caps at zero cost to me. The installation was easy and can be done by one person. For the $275 savings compared to my other bed cover I'd say it was a worthwhile purchase.

I looked several covers and found this one and fell in love with it. It is excactly what I was looking for.

Easy Install, Solid Product

Installed by myself with zero issues. By itself the cover weighs around 45 lbs. Install is very straightforward and easy. Just make sure you set the bracket properly on the rail. Being a 4 panel is really nice. Also you can pull the cord on either side and it unlocks both latches on that panel. No more walking around the truck 10 times. This cover has the ability to fold up completely and securely without removing. It does block the back glass. The only issue I ran into was the 3 latches that lock down on each side. They would not lock into place. I tried adjusting the latches to different positions. Nothing. Broke out a file and took off minimal material where each latch was engaging the rail and now all 6 lock right into place. Would it have done that if I just let it sit and settle? Can't say. I wanted it to latch right then! There is nothing shabby about this product. Would say spend a couple hundred more and get it, you will be pleased.
