Description
Mesh Headache Rack. Supported by a powerful frame that's emblazoned with the BackRack logo, the wire mesh in the Silverado 1500 Safety Headache Rack offers a ton of tie-down points. Using ropes, cables, or bungees, you can easily secure long loads so they don't move around in your bed when you're driving. The mesh extends over your entire rear window, offering visibility while protecting it against loose trail debris. You also receive a rear bed bar with the rack, which installs onto your tailgate to offer easier bed access.
Solid Construction. Using sturdy steel to enhance durability, BackRack ensures this headache rack is as reliable as you expect it to be. Impact-resistant and capable of holding long cargo in place, this steel is protected by a black powder coating. The effects of the weather and environmental toxins can't corrode this rack.
Direct Installation. Don't worry about cutting new holes into your vehicle as the Silverado 1500 Safety Headache Rack installs directly. It's also compatible with most tonneau covers, though separate mounting brackets are required for this type of installation.
A Year Of Cover. The manufacturer backs this headache rack with a limited 1-year warranty. Applying solely to the original purchaser, you will need to offer proof of purchase to activate this warranty. It covers manufacturing and material defects.
Application. The Silverado 1500 Safety Headache Rack is designed for use with Chevrolet Silverado 1500 vehicles made between 2014-2018.
Installation Difficulty. Requiring limited automotive skills, this headache rack can be installed by a beginner in less than an hour. Add more time if you're also installing the rear bed bar.
