And while a conventional truck bed rack does this job really well, these can be a bit expensive. This is where the BackRack Rear Bed Bar comes in. This truck bed rear bar is designed to install into the rearmost bed stakes and feature a pair of hook bolts. When used in conjunction with your BackRack guard or a conventional headache rack, you now have an efficient – and economical – way to haul long cargo like ladders or lumber. What’s more, this component will work with certain tonneau covers so you don’t have to get rid of this useful bed accessory.
Brawny Build Quality. This rear bar is made from high-grade 2-inch square steel tubes, making this component particularly brawny. These steel tubes are then machine-formed to exact measurements, offering an exact fit when installed. A pair of plastic end caps are also included to give the bar a clean look. Finally, this component receives a chip-resistant black powder coat finish for exceptional corrosion protection and rugged good looks.
Uncomplicated Installation. Installing this truck bed rear bar is an uncomplicated task as it is designed to insert into your truck’s bed stake pockets closest to the tailgate. No drilling or other modifications to your vehicle are necessary. That being said, you may need to trim a portion of your plastic bed rail caps if your truck is outfitted with them. Minor assembly is also needed.
