Works well, difficult install
Good and bad. Once installed it functions as advertised. It is easy to use and solid. The installation however, was a different story. The item was packaged well. The steel brackets didn't fit together as it came out of the box, the fist two bolts wouldn't go through and the rest of the holes wouldn't line up so it couldn't be installed. It took some massaging on a large vise with a long pipe for leverage to bend the bracket into alignment. After an 1 hr of working with it it was aligned and would install on the truck.

Easy in and out of the bed!
As an older guy with old knees, it was literally a pain to climb up in the bed of my truck. This bed step has made it so much easier on my knees. The bed step is rock solid. Installation was easy and less than a half hour!

I no longer have to look stupid getting into the bed of my truck. It is very solid build with one possible exception. The way the step mounts to the arm. If you stepped heavily on it getting out of the bed, I believe you could snap it off. For me it's perfect and very happy with it. Install is easy if you watch the install video. Paper instructions are not the best. It took me 40 min to install.

Highly recommend this bedstep--not the easiest for me to install but Shane at Stivers Ford knocked it out in about an hour. Much easier access to bed now...great, top-quality product.
