I only have one complaint
As other reviews have stated, they look great. The install was fairly straight forward. Now that the install is complete, I absolutely love them, and are completely satisfied with the purchase. However, After the initial install, upon door opening, steps would retract, closing the door they would extend. After the initial freakout, I looked online to see if there was a solution. It would seem that some of the wiring harnesses went out where the wires powering the motors were in reverse. The solution was to either disassemble the connector and flip the wires, or cut and swap. This solution worked. However, with this kind of price tag, it shouldn't have this kind of problem, especially several years after the initial discovery/complaints. If not for this, I would have given a solid 5 stars across the board.

Better than original factory rails!!!
I looked into several options, including the OEM rails. PowerStep Smart Series are the way to go. They look like a million bucks and operate so smoothly. I can lift my truck another six inches now and still easily get in and out of the truck. The app is awesome for when I want to put the rails down and turn on the lights like during parades or cruising the Ocean drive.

Automatic Running Boards are Great!
I had factory running boards on my truck, but the truck has a 4 inch lift. I need running boards that extend down further to work well. The PowerStep running boards are perfect. I also used the installation services provided by American Trucks...this was a easy process. I am very pleased.

Definitely the way to go!
I had these on a previous truck and missed having them. way easier to get into my lifted truck compared to any other side step. very comfortable and safe feeling, and they look sharp when tucked up. The only issues i had was the wait time, to get them and the plugs came wired backwards. Simple fix by swapping wires in the plugs.

These are the best steps. They open quickly when needed and tuck away to a clean look. Auxiliary plug allows for another set of lights. Great buy great look!!!!!!!

Awesome steps
Installed these a week again and I love them. They come down much lower than the stock steps and when the fold up you can’t even tell they are there. The Wi-Fi feature is nice, I can raise and lower them with my phone and turn the lights on and off. Very nicely built too.

Amp steps
The amp steps are great. Easy plug and play install, it took about 3-1/2 hours to install them. Running the wire harness was pretty simple, right down the wheel wells behind the insert. The only thing I didnt like at first was the rear piece with the motor on it could have been installed at the very rear of the back door which would have made it look more balanced. But the harness plug wouldn't have made it to that far back.

Great steps but did not fit without grinder
Love the steps so far, unfortunately my install required a grinder. Worked with manufacturer for hours and they had no solution so I ground to make it fit.

This product was pretty easy to install following the instructions. The only thing I did differently was instead of drilling through the metal tine I wrapped the wire down underneath to the back. I was able to install from start to finish in just under 3 hours by myself if you have help you could probably do it in half the time.

Great side step, but wish it was a bit higher
Very sturdy step, easy to install and works well. My only small gripe is that when it is swiveled out for us, it drops too far which makes it marginally useful. Admittedly, I am short (which is why I wanted it) and I could use the step to be higher to assist in reaching into the bed to the 5th wheel hitch, but even so it drops lower than I would have expected so even for taller folks Im not sure if it has as much value as it could.
