Description
More Power, Better Throttle Response. This easy to bolt-on Poweraid spacer from Airaid was developed to improve throttle response and to unleash the hidden low to mid range torque from your 4.6L 2V (2-Valve) powered F-150's engine, with tremendous torque gains seen between 800 to 2500 RPM.
Improve Fuel Economy. The Airaid Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer not only improves the power and performance of your F-150, but with its unique “Helix Bore” design, it also maximizes fuel efficiency saving you money at the gas pump. The Helix Bore creates a spinning action to the incoming air to provide superior atomization of the air fuel mixture for better combustion.
Billet Aluminum Construction. CNC machined from the highest quality aircraft grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum the Airaid Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer is anodized in a black finish for great under styling and includes all the necessary hardware and instructions for a simple straightforward installation.
CARB Certified. Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer is 50-state smog legal under Carb EO # D-609-3 for the 2007-2009 Model Years. It is not CARB Certified for the 2010 Model Year.
Application. The Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer is designed to be used on the 2007-2010 F-150 Models equipped with the 4.6L 2V (2-Valve) V8 engine.
Application Note. To determine what version of the 4.6L is in your truck, you would need to refer to your VIN number. If the 8th digit in the VIN # is "W" it is the 4.6L 2V. If the 8th digit in the VIN # is "8" it is the 4.6L 3V.

there is a noticeable slight improvement in throttle response by itself. Combining with a good intake and a tune, it gets a nice increase in performance.

Afraid Throttle Body Spacer
Love the whistle. Easy install, about 25 minutes. Fits perfect, just wish it was the red one pictured instead of black. Will update after I drive enough to guage power and fuel difference.

2005 5.4 V8 f150 Throttle Body Spacer
Had this for a few months and it has made a difference. Install was easy and the parts were high quality. After installation I felt a lot more throttle response and I definitely noticed the "whistle". It's less of a whistle and more of a high-pitched whine. At low speeds you can definitely hear it but past 45 it goes away or gets drowned out. That means it's working which is good but just know to anyone who buys it you will hear it and your passengers will make comments. Works good but just be warned if you don't like a high-pitched noise, you won't like it. Still recommend if you're looking for more throttle response and power.

Slight sound increase zero performance gain
The whistle is slight but noticeable. I did not see any other gain or throttle response. It would be nice if this product came with a CARB sticker but does not.. I am sure I will need to take it off to pass Cali smog test... Sticker should be included by company since it is a CARB compliant product.
