Description
A Higher Level of Performance. Improve the power and performance of your Chevrolet Silverado by installing an Airaid MXP Series Cold Air Intake. This Cold Air Intake system is designed to provide your engine with a high-volume of cold, dense air through its premium air filter, roto-molded air box, and polyethylene intake tube. With its engine kept at a lower temperature, your truck can easily and quickly respond whenever you need more power on the road.
No Tune Required. Airaid engineered their Cold Air Intake to improve the performance of your Silverado without the need of reprogramming your computer. By utilizing flow dynamics, this Intake will increase power using the original factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Cold Air Intake.
SynthaMax Dry Filtration. The included Airaid Air Filter offers far superior air filtration than the ordinary stock filter because it employs SynthaMax® technology. SynthaMax® is a non-woven artificial nano-fiber medium that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze filters just can’t filter out. Airaid Premium Filters, with SynthaMax® captures particles down to 2 microns in size. Best of all, this filter doesn’t need to be oiled and is washable, which will save you both time and money.
Simple Bolt-on Installation. Airaid designed their MXP Series Cold Air Intake to be a direct bolt-on replacement. With no special tools or extra modifications required, installation can be completed in under an hour. All parts and detailed instructions are included.
CARB Certified. This Cold Air Intake is CARB certified, therefore it is legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. CARB EO Number D-609-18.
