Engineered for Maximum Power. Take your engine cooling to the next level with the Airaid Cold Air Dam Intake with Red SynthaMax Dry Filter. This cold air intake system directs air to your engine in greater volumes than a stock intake setup, but it also cools the air further using the coolant of the vehicle. Give your Silverado 1500 the horsepower and torque it deserves with this Airaid upgrade.
No Tune Required. Most cold air intakes require tuning, but this Airaid Cold Air Intake System doesn’t need one. That’s because it has already been done for you. All you need to do it install this kit to your truck, and you will be ready to hit the road.
Premium Air Filter. The SynthaMax Dry Filter used in this intake kit is made from high-flow 8-layer cotton gauze material that outperforms traditional paper for maximum filtration. The 360-degree conical filter is washable and reusable, which means that you only have to clean it every 30,000 to 50,000 miles of normal driving.
Heavy-Duty Construction. The Airaid Cold Air Dam Intake kit is made from high-density polyethylene to ensure it holds up to heavy use without failing. It comes in a red powder-coated finish that not only looks good, but also improves air flow and protects against outdoor elements.
Efficient CAD. The Cold Air Dam panels used in this intake kit are mounted in the factory air box location and utilize any factory cold air inlet ducts that are present. They also add more cold air passages to the filter. These panels also keep the filter isolated from the hot engine compartment air by sealing to the underside of the hood, using weather stripping featuring a blade-style design.
Fast and Easy Installation. The Airaid Air Intake System is engineered to be installed fast and easy, using basic hand tools. Its custom-designed shape ensures that it will slide right in during install. You only need 30 minutes to complete this installation, and no drilling, cutting or welding is needed.
