Great easy upgrade

Muffler was exactly what I was expecting. It has a nice tone at Idle and when reved up it gets louder but very comfortable, not obnoxious.

Perfect

Great way to give the 5.3 a nice rumble without breaking the bank or waking the neighbors but know when it’s there when you gas it. Also just enough to be able to cut off the flapper. Just added a few welds for a couple leaks I couldn’t get to close up and for security down the road.

for the price its a decent muffler set up, fit was great and the loudness and tone is good, discourged as its been less then a year and the body is showing rust at the seams so will have to replace in the future.

Amazing sound and Quality

A friend of mine installed the Apollo GT ser on his F-150. The sound was perfect and he had nothing but great things to say about fit and quality, After mt installation which was straight forward and relatively simply I could not Agree more. Oh and the sound. That wonder rumble. Not obnoxiously load but enough to let other know that you arrived. Time to install was under 2hrs.

Nice exhaust

Not a bad system, it is a little loud for me. had to replace due to the flex joint cracked on the stock system and i was smelling exhaust in the cab. This was a cheaper option than having a muffler shop install a system that was not stainless steel and tried to duplicated the stock exhaust. I opted to have a shop that was recommended by American truck to install the system, they did a great job and finished in a timely manner.

Apollo

Easy to install, sounded as described. Nice cold start and slightly louder than stock with nice deep rumble when you get on the gas

Couple flaws, great neighborhood friendly sound

Sound: perfect for a neighborhood, it’s just loud enough that it might not work well for an apartment complex but normal houses should be fine. At idle it’s moderate, foot down it roars pretty good. Install: simple enough, one of the middle hanger brackets is definitely strained more than normal, and it’s just the location of the hook on the exhaust. The major flaw… RUST! This is advertised as a high level steel and comparable in price to a Borla (never really rusts). I’ve had this on for one year and the entire exhaust had rust spots all over it. Nothing that is detrimental, but give it 5 years and I’ll probably be replacing it.
