• Ensure all components listed are present.
• If you are missing any of the components, call customer support at 951-493-7100.
• Ensure you have all necessary tools before proceeding.
• Do not attempt to work on your vehicle when the engine is hot.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal before proceeding.
• Retain factory parts for future use.
Refer to Figure A for Steps 1-6
Step 1: Disconnect the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) harness from the top portion
of the factory air box.
Step 2: Disconnect the vacuum line and crankcase line from the factory intake tube.
Step 3: Loosen the throttle body clamp.
Step 4: Unclip the top portion of the factory air box .
Step 5: Remove the factory intake with the top portion of the air box attached by pulling from the throttle body side, then lift straight up towards you.
Step 6: Remove the factory air filter from the lower portion of the air box.
Refer to Figure B for Steps 7-9
Step 7: Remove the MAF sensor from the top portion of the factory air box using the torx bit.
Step 8: Install the MAF sensor to the aFe intake tube with the M4 slotted screws.
Step 9: Install the 3 inch hump coupling with provided clamps at the throttle body side of the aFe intake tube. (Do not tighten the clamps).
Refer to Figure C for Steps 10-13
Step 10: Assemble the aFe housing by installing the filter adaptor with the M6 screws.
Step 11: Install the angle coupling and clamps on the adaptor side tube.
Step 12: Install the trim seal at the edges of the aFe housing.
Step 13: Install the aFe filter with the provided clamp.

Step 14: Install the aFe assembled housing on the vehicle and make sure to tab the clips back on. 5
Step 15: Install the provided hoses to replace the factory vacuum lines. 6
Refer to Figure E for steps 16-19
Step 16: Install the aFe intake tube on the vehicle. (Throttle body side first).
Step 17: Connect the vacuum lines on aFe intake tube.
Step 18: Re-connect the MAF sensor harness.
Step 19: Adjust intake tube, then tighten all clamps.
Installation is now complete.
Check and retighten all clamps after approximately 150 miles.
