Description
Maximize Your Factory System. Get the most out of your F-150’s factory air system with the AFE Rapid Induction Dynamic Air Scoop in Black. This air intake scoop works by connecting to the factory air box on one end with the scoop portion positioned underneath the hood. This design basically transforms your factory air system into a cold air intake, allowing it to pull in cold air from the outside to be delivered to your engine. This added cold air more complete fuel combustion enhancing performance. What’s more, this air scoop will work with AFE’s Rapid Induction and Quantum cold air intakes, increasing their performance potential.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This air intake scoop is made from high-grade linear low-density polyethylene using an advanced injection molding process. The combination of quality materials and high-tech manufacturing gives you an extremely durable intake scoop that fits your truck like a factory option. Meanwhile, a heat-resistant silicone inlet seal is included which is designed to keep heated air from your engine bay from entering the scoop. Rounding out its construction is a black colorway that matches your engine bay for a unified look.
Convenient Install Procedure. Installing this air scoop is a fairly convenient process as this assembly uses factory locations on your air box and hood as its mounting points. No extra drilling is needed and installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
