Look Good While Cooling Your Hot Transmission. This new deep transmission pan from aFe Power is a great way to add longevity and reliability to your truck. This pan increases trans fluid capacity by an extra 2 quarts over a stock pan. All that extra fluid is kept cool by circulating around the internally finned pan, and that heat is then transferred to the machined external fins. Those fins then are cooled by the greater surface area contact with the ambient air. The lightweight A356 aluminum is reinforced with ribs for superior strength and resistance to the rigors of the road. Those external machine-finished fins poke through the black powder-coated finish for a great look and even more protection. A standard-size 1/8” NPT Port allows for the use of your transmission temperature sensor. And when it comes time to drain all that fluid, the pan has a big neodymium magnetic drain plug to capture any loose metal particulate circulating inside the pan.
