Fairly straight forward install. Does require some cutting. Kit was missing a template but was able to use it backwards on second side since they mirror each other

Good quality product. Was fairly technical to install, but someone with mechanically inclined should be able to do it. Does require some fender cutting. Only 3 stars due to the fact I was missing a front closeout panel piece.

Great product / Install instructions need updated

This is the perfect skid to cover up your fuel tank area on the Colorado ZR2. First, because it is the OEM skid for the Bison package. Second, because after researching, it came out to be lightest by a wide margin without sacrificing strength. The only issue came about when attempting to install the rear in-board hanger. There is a rivet nut that is supposed to be installed into a cross bar. The instructions lead you to believe this is a no-drill installation, but after struggling to find a way to complete the install and reaching out to AEV it appears you need to drill. According to an AEV tech they will be updating the instructions to indicate the current hole in the cross beam need to be drilled out to 9/16". Overall, I am completely satisfied with the product and feel much more confident when hitting the trail. I highly recommend this product if you have the ZR2. It is a great investment even if you are never leaving pavement.

AEV bumper

Great bumper. looks like a factory made item with the heavy duty materials that and working bumper needs. I bought foam fneder flare material off of amazon to fill the gap between the headlight and bumper. Also using a cheaper 10k winch that fits very nicely.
