      Description

      Improve Horsepower. Adding an AEM Universal Cold Air Intake; 4-Inch Diameter will bring some amazing additions to your ride, starting with improved horsepower and overall performance. Made in the USA, this Cold Air Intake is perfect for engine swaps when a custom intake is required.

      What's Involved? This AEM Universal Cold Air Intake consists of an AEM Dryflow Air Filter; (3) 4-inch diameter aluminum tube bends; 1 straight, 36-inch long, 4-inch wide diameter tube; 7 couplers; weld-on mass air flow sensor pad; 2 brackets and hardware.

      Construction. The intake pipe is made of aluminum, the Air Filter is red and the included clamps are stainless steel.

      Installation. This is considered a moderate level installation and should take 90 minutes to complete.

      Application. This AEM Universal Cold Air Intake; 4-Inch Diameter offers a universal fitment.

      The product was great and fun to put on I can feel alittle more power and really hear that turbo sound it help with throttle control and get on it and it will roll alittle coal for ya

      Easy install. Looks sweet! Only negative is I def need to get it tuned. Had a lot of throttle lag and back pressure. Took it out for now until I schedule a tune. Will update later

      While you wont notice much, if any, performance changes, with the 3.5 ecoboost anyway, it's definitely a very high quality add on for your trick and simple to clean

      Replacement vs new intake

      There is a lot of information about what the best choice for your truck is, this filter wasn’t about making it look cool under the hood, but rather performance and cost. It took less than one minute to swap with the stock filter cartridge. Performance was increased immediately.

      Check Engine light!!!

      It’s really easy to instal about 15 minutes, looks great and sounds good too, I notice quicker throttle response when it’s on but every time I put it on my check engine light comes on and the code is a crank case vent system disconnected, when I put the stock air filter back on it turns off. I don’t understand it !!!

      Good filter

      It’s a good filter. Did not see any increase in MPG or engine sound. Truck is bone stock with a tune. I’m not surprised with the results I got this because it’s washable. Saves money on the long run.

      Very happy with this intake. Can hear the turbos better in the cab now. Little bit better throttle response. Went with this one for the dry filter and the hard pipe look.
