How to Install AEM DryFlow Air Filter (04-08 5.4L) on your Ford F-150

With proper care, this filter will last the life of your vehicle. This filter may be used in a stock machine, and no modifications will be required. However there are special installation instructions, so please follow the procedures outlined below to ensure that the AEM® air filter seals properly.

INSTALLATION:

1. Unfasten clamps and slide the tray out from airbox, remove the stock air filter. (Fig. 1)

2. Wipe away dirt and debris from the tray and airbox.

3. It is very important to place the AEM® air filter in tray with the orientation arrows facing the airbox. (Fig. 2)

4. Slide the tray with the AEM® air filter back into the airbox. (Fig. 3)

5. Secure the airbox clamps. (Fig. 4)

THESE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED EVERY TIME THE FILTER IS SERVICED, OTHERWISE THE FILTER MAY NOT SEAL, AND DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE COULD RESULT.
