Platinum Package Look
The Tailgate Cover gets a lot of second looks. It really classes up the F150 Pre-2017 tailgates. The only issue was the secondary trim piece that you are suppose to shape to fit (get real). I simply threw it away. I am a little concerned with the maintenance of the item. I got some appliance polish for brushed steel and have been applying on after each car wash. It will be important to keep a good coat of protectant on the item and to ensure you follow care directions to ensure no scratches. This is not as carefree as a factory items but it does look sharp and for the cost is a nice upgrade.

Beautiful Addition
If you don't have the Platinum or the King ranch this application to the tailgate is awesome. I did not get the one with the LEDs because I was fearful of them burning out and having difficulty with them. It took a little planning but if you're careful it was not difficult to do and it looks wonderful.

Old School Bling
A work of art. Follow the instructions from the manufacturer and take your time. The 3M tape adhesive is unforgiving. Where you place it is where it will stay. Form the placard to the hood. Mark where you want it with painter's tape front/rear & height equal on both sides and practice placing it on the hood. When ready, remove the tape and place. I started at the bottom and slowly pushed it into position. Remember, you get 1 shot at this. Good Luck!
