Not for people who like in a highly wooded and or hilly terrain. For me the stock antenna got better reception. This would work wonders if you live in an area with flat terrain and little to block the signal from the radio towers. Looks great and the kit will fit many vehicles.

Nice antenna
I like the carbon fiber black 50cal antenna. I park in a low clearance garage everyday for work and the stock antenna would hit every sign hanging in the garage on The way in and out. So I upgraded to this antenna and solved that issue! Install takes less than 5min. Comes with a large assortment of adapters to fit just about every vehicle. I added a few drops of locktite after finding the proper adapter so that nobody gets sticky fingers in the parking garage. Looks great and matches my black appearance package on my truck well blends in with all of the emblems. Fm reception seems to be about the same as with stock antenna in town. I’m sure I’m rural areas you may lose some reception due to the antenna being 3ft Shorter than the stock antenna, but I haven’t proven this to be true yet. I would recommend
