Perhaps the most important piece of recovery equipment is a winch, and that's why we offer 2007-2013 Silverado Winches. If you venture out away from civilization in areas where you leave the pavement behind, getting a winch is more than a good idea. You can use one to pull your truck out of a situation that otherwise would be hopeless, or hook the line up to another vehicle in need of a recovery. We offer Barricade Winches, which come with a 9,500 lb. capacity or a 12,000 lb. capacity, whichever you need. Both versions operate smoothly and are reliable, so when you need them most they're ready to perform. A black powder coat finish guards against damage and corrosion, and you can get a Barricade Winch Cover to keep your winch clean and protected against the elements. These winches can be had with the traditional steel cable, or an orange synthetic rope. Unlike the steel cable, the synthetic rope won't cut into anchors like trees, or build up extra energy that could result in a serious accident when placed under load. Choosing the synthetic rope even sheds weight, so your front suspension is under less stress. Another option you can select when ordering is a wireless controller, which allows you to stand clear of your vehicle during a recovery, rather than having to be right in the middle of the action. What's more, Barricade stands behind its winches with a lifetime warranty, so you can order them without worries about craftsmanship of durability.
